9-Year-Old Montfort School Student Dies of Cardiac Arrest While Playing

A tragic incident occurred at Montfort School where a 9-year-old student, Manvi Singh, collapsed and died of cardiac arrest while playing on the school premises, according to the school principal.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the principal reported that the Class 3 student fell unconscious during playtime. She was immediately rushed to Fatima Hospital, but later her family transferred her to Chandan Hospital, where doctors confirmed she had died from cardiac arrest.

The incident was reported to the police, though the girl’s family has chosen not to pursue any further action.

In light of this tragedy, the school declared a holiday on Friday to honor her memory.
