The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced the recruitment of 5,600 constable vacancies, including 5,000 posts for male candidates and 600 for female candidates. The registration process will start on September 10 and continue until September 24. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website at hssc.gov.in.

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details

  • Category 1 (Male Constable, General Duty): 4,000 vacancies
  • Category 2 (Female Constable, General Duty): 600 vacancies
  • Category 3 (Male Constable, India Reserve Battalions): 1,000 vacancies

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed the Group C examination.
  • Completion of the Class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognized board is required.
  • Additionally, candidates must have passed the Class 10 examination with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years old as of September 1, 2024.
  • SC/BC/EWS candidates have an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
  • Ex-servicemen can avail a break in service of up to four years.

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply

  1. Visit the official website: hssc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the recruitment section and select the link for Advt. No. 14/2024.
  3. Fill out the application form with all necessary details and upload the required documents.
  4. Carefully review the form before submitting it.
  5. Submit the application form online.
  6. Take a screenshot or printout of the submitted form for future reference.

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates must meet the specified physical standards.
  • Physical Screening Test (PST):
    • Male candidates must run 2.5 km in 12 minutes.
    • Female candidates must run 1 km in 6 minutes.
    • Ex-servicemen must run 1 km in 5 minutes.
  • Knowledge Test: The exam includes objective-type questions and is conducted in Hindi and English, with a weightage of 94.5 per cent.
    • General category candidates must score at least 50 per cent to qualify.
    • Reserved category candidates have a cutoff of 40 per cent.
  • Additional Marks: NCC certificate holders will receive 1-3 additional marks depending on the certification level.
