The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the Clerk Prelims exams on August 24, 25, and 31, 2024. In preparation for the exams, IBPS has organized the Pre-Examination Training (PET) to assist candidates from specific categories. The PET is intended to familiarize candidates with the online test format but does not influence the selection process. As stated in the official notice, attending PET does not guarantee selection in any participating bank.

IBPS Clerk Pre-Examination Training (PET) 2024: Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk preliminary exam will consist of 100 questions, each carrying one mark, divided across three sections:

  • English Language: 30 questions
  • Numerical Ability: 35 questions
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions

Candidates will have a total of one hour to complete the exam.

To aid candidates in their preparation, the IBPS has uploaded the syllabus and a sample question paper on its official website, ibps.in. The admit cards for the Pre-Examination Training (PET) 2024 were issued on August 12, 2024. Candidates who applied for clerk positions under the CRP Clerk XIV recruitment process can download their admit cards from the IBPS website.
