The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has issued admit cards for the Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test (PMT/PET) for various positions including Sub Inspector Civil (Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, and Platoon Commander (Male – PAC/IRB) as part of the 2024 recruitment process. Candidates can now download their admit cards from the official website, psc.uk.gov.in.

Steps to Download Admit Card

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to psc.uk.gov.in.
  2. Access the Admit Card Section: Find the admit card link on the homepage.
  3. Select the Relevant Exam Link: Click on the link for ‘Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, And Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) Exam-2024 (Under the Home Department)’.
  4. Login: Enter your mobile number and password.
  5. Download the Admit Card: Submit your details, and your admit card will appear on the screen. Save it and take a printout for future reference.

Selection Process

The recruitment involves multiple stages:

  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates’ height, chest, and weight are measured.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Physical fitness is tested through activities such as running and high jumps.
  3. Written Examination: Candidates who clear the physical tests proceed to a written exam covering various subjects.
  4. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final verification to ensure candidates meet all qualifications and are medically fit.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 examination from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old, with age relaxation available for reserved categories as per government norms.

Physical Standards

  • Male Candidates:
    • General Category: Minimum height of 167 cm
    • SC Candidates: Minimum height of 160 cm
    • Candidates from Hilly Areas: Minimum height of 162.6 cm
  • Female Candidates:
    • General Category: Minimum height of 152 cm
    • SC and Hilly Area Candidates: Minimum height of 147 cm
