Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in Class 5 for the academic year 2023-24.
- Should have completed full-time studies in Classes 3, 4, and 5 at a recognized school.
- Only one attempt allowed for the JNVST entrance exam.
Quotas:
- Rural Quota: 75% of seats reserved for students from rural areas.
- Urban Quota: 25% of seats available for students from both urban and rural areas, following district reservation criteria.
Selection Process:
- Admission is based on merit determined by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
- The exam assesses students on mathematics, mental ability, and regional language.
