The upcoming Uttar Pradesh police constable recruitment exams, set for August 31, are facing a serious scandal involving corruption and deceit. Recent revelations have uncovered a major scam where individuals offer to ensure candidates pass the exam in exchange for significant fees.
The Special Task Force (STF) in Uttar Pradesh is actively investigating these malpractices. A key development in the case came with the arrest of Dayashankar Yadav in Prayagraj. Yadav is alleged to have operated a scheme where he advised candidates to leave their answer sheets blank, promising to fill in the correct answers using his connections with the exam authorities. He charged each candidate a substantial fee of Rs. 2 lakhs for this service.
During his interrogation, Yadav revealed the involvement of another suspect, Abhitabh Mishra, who is believed to be linked to the scam. The STF is working diligently to uncover the full extent of the fraud and to ensure that the recruitment process remains transparent and legitimate.
In response to this scandal, the police are urging candidates and the public to report any suspicious activities. This call for vigilance is aimed at preventing further illegal practices and preserving the integrity of the recruitment exams.
The arrest and subsequent investigation have raised serious concerns about the fairness of the recruitment process and the broader issue of corruption in competitive exams. The STF’s efforts are focused on restoring public trust in the recruitment system and ensuring that future exams are conducted with the highest standards of fairness and honesty.
