Application Process:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be permanent residents of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is located.
  • Must be studying in Class 5 in the same district at a government or government-recognized school during the academic year 2024-25.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015.

Exam Details:

  • Phase 1 Exam: April 12, 2025, at 11:30 AM
    • Areas: Jammu and Kashmir (excluding Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal, Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh.
  • Phase 2 Exam: January 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM
    • Areas: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (excluding Dibang Valley and Tawang), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (excluding Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, Shimla), Jammu and Kashmir (only Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal (excluding Darjeeling), Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Puducherry.

  2. Click on the JNVST 2025-26 Class 6 Admission link.
  3. Select “Registration.”
  4. Complete the application form and pay the application fee.
  5. Click “Submit.”
  6. Download and print the application form for your records.
