The University of Delhi has released the schedule for the upcoming rounds of allocation-cum-admissions for undergraduate programmes under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key dates and events are as follows:
Upgrade Window
- Start: August 31, 2024, at 5:00 PM
- End: September 1, 2024, at 4:59 PM
Important Dates for Admission Process
- Declaration of Upgraded Allocation: September 3, 2024
- Acceptance of Allocated Seats: September 3 – September 4, 2024
- College Verification and Approval: September 3 – September 5, 2024
- Last Date for Online Payment of Fees: September 6, 2024
Subsequent Rounds and Events
- Display of Vacant Seats: September 7, 2024
- Apply for Mid-Entry: September 7 – September 9, 2024
- Declaration of Third CSAS Allocation: September 11, 2024
- Acceptance of Allocated Seats (Round 3): September 11 – September 13, 2024
- College Verification and Approval (Round 3): September 11 – September 14, 2024
- Final Deadline for Payment of Fees: September 15, 2024
Upgrade and Reordering Preferences
Candidates admitted in the first two rounds can opt for an upgrade to a higher preference during the upgrade window. They can also reorder their preferred Programme + College combinations ranked higher than the one they were previously allocated. If a candidate receives an upgraded seat, their admission will be processed at the college level, and any differential fees will need to be paid. Admission to the upgraded seat will be finalised upon successful payment of the required fees.
Third Round of Allocation
The third round of allocation will be based on the data of students available as of September 9, 2024. The cut-offs and ranks for this round will be independent of those from earlier rounds.
