How to Apply

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to rrbapply.gov.in.
  2. Select ‘RRB NTPC Apply Online’: Click on the application link.
  3. Login: Enter the required information to log in.
  4. Generate Password and Registration ID: A password and registration ID will be created for you.
  5. Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the application with the provided details.
  6. Submit the Application: Press the “Submit” button.
  7. Payment: Pay the application fee.
  8. Save and Print: Download and print the application form for your records.

Application Fee

  • General Candidates: Rs 500
  • PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Communities, Economically Backward Class: Rs 250
  • Refund: Candidates who appear for the CBT will be eligible for a partial refund of the application fee.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years old as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their graduation from recognized boards, universities, or institutes.

Exam Pattern

The RRB NTPC selection process involves three stages:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first CBT is a screening phase with 100 questions covering general awareness, reasoning, and mathematics. Scores from this phase do not affect the final merit list.
  2. Second Stage CBT/Typing Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates from CBT 1 will proceed to this stage.
  3. Document Verification and Medical Test: Final stage involving verification of documents and medical examination.
