The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FPSB India to introduce a certification programme in Financial Planning. This programme, set to commence in the academic session 2024-25, will be available to both students and working professionals.

IIM Lucknow aims to elevate the standards of financial planning education in India through this new initiative. The programme is designed to combine rigorous academic training with professional certification, ensuring that students receive industry-relevant knowledge and training in financial planning. According to IIM Lucknow, “By combining rigorous academic training with professional certification, the programme will prepare a new generation of financial planners with the essential skills to address the sector’s evolving needs. This effort is expected to drive growth and enhance the prosperity of both the industry and the broader economy.”
