HAMILTON, Ohio — The Butler County coroner is investigating a reported body discovered in a wooded area adjacent to Garfield Middle School in Hamilton. Hamilton police responded to the call made to Butler County dispatch just before 2 p.m. on Thursday.
According to the Journal-News, an ambulance left the scene shortly after arriving, and police have confirmed that the coroner’s van was en route to the location. However, no further details about the incident have been released.
Hamilton City Schools Superintendent Mike Holbrook stated that the wooded area where the body was found is not part of school property, clarifying the school’s lack of direct involvement in the situation.
