The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced a recruitment drive for various Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ positions. Interested candidates can apply for these vacancies until October 19, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit:
- Level 2 posts: Maximum age of 30 years.
- Level 1 posts: Maximum age of 33 years.
- Minimum age for all posts: 18 years.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed Class 10 from a recognized board or institute.
- An ITI certificate is required for all applicants.
Salary Structure
Candidates selected for the positions will receive salaries as follows:
- Group ‘C’ Level-2: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 (as per the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC).
- Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Level-1: ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 (as per the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC).
Application Fee
The application fees for candidates applying for the railway positions are as follows:
- General/OBC category: ₹500
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD)/Female/Transgender/Minority candidates: ₹500
- Economically Backward Category: ₹250
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written test followed by document verification.
