The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has confirmed that the Class 10th and 12th board exams will be conducted offline in March-April. Here are the key details:
Examination Schedule:
- Class 12th (HSC) Exams: March 4 to March 30, 2022
- Class 10th (SSC) Exams: March 15 to April 4, 2022
Increase in Examination Centers:
- Every school and junior college will serve as an examination center.
- Number of examination centers increased by four times compared to last year.
Examination Form Statistics:
- HSC (Class 12th): More than 14.72 lakh students have filled examination forms.
- SSC (Class 10th): More than 16.25 lakh students have filled examination forms.
COVID-19 Precautions:
- Thermal scanning for all students at examination centers.
- Controlled student traffic for entry and exit.
- Students instructed to arrive 1 hour prior to examination timing.
- Each examination center will accommodate only 25 students.
- Seating arrangement in zigzag method to maintain social distancing.

- MSBSHSE conducts exams for a total of 158 subjects for HSC, requiring preparation of 365 question paper sets.

- Provision for students unable to attend due to COVID-19 infection to appear for supplementary exams.
