Sree Saraswathi Vidya Mandira (CBSE) proudly participated in the Silver Zone Olympiads for the academic year 2023-24, showcasing our students’ dedication and excellence across various subjects. The Olympiad exams, covering Science, English, Mathematics, and Social Science, were conducted with great enthusiasm and participation from our students.
The Science Olympiad, held in December, saw 19 students participating with remarkable results. Eight students were awarded gold medals, seven received silver medals, and one earned a bronze medal. A special highlight was Mahadhyuta M. of Grade 2, who not only advanced to the second level of the Silver Zone Olympiad but also secured the First Rank at the state level, earning a Medal of Excellence (Gold) and a gift certificate.
Similarly, the English Olympiad, conducted in December, witnessed the participation of 16 students. Among them, six students received gold medals, four were awarded silver medals, and one achieved a bronze medal. Impressively, five students from this group were selected for the second level of the English Olympiad, underscoring their exceptional linguistic abilities.
In the Mathematics Olympiad, also held in December, 26 students showcased their mathematical skills. The results were outstanding, with five students earning gold medals, three receiving silver medals, and two obtaining bronze medals. The Social Science Olympiad, conducted in the same month, had 11 participants. Five students received gold medals, two were awarded silver medals, and two earned bronze medals.
All other participants were awarded participation certificates, recognizing their effort and dedication towards the Olympiads. The Silver Zone Olympiads for the year 2023-24 have once again demonstrated the exceptional talent and academic prowess of our students at Sree Saraswathi Vidya Mandira. The dedication and hard work of both students and teachers have paid off, bringing laurels to the school. We look forward to continuing this tradition of excellence in the coming years.
