BCCL and EdCIL Partner to Revolutionize Education in Dhanbad

BCCL (Bharat Coking Coal Limited) and EdCIL (India) Limited have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at transforming education in the Dhanbad district. The agreement was finalized on Thursday at Coal Bhawan, with BCCL CMD Samiran Dutta and Director (Personnel) Murali Krishna Ramaiya in attendance.

Key Highlights of the MoU:

  • Scope of the Initiative: The MoU will enhance 79 government schools in Dhanbad with smart classrooms and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) labs.
  • Financial Investment: Each school will receive Rs 13.54 lakh for the setup of modern classrooms, ICT labs, and essential digital equipment.
  • Project Name: This initiative is part of Coal India’s Digital Vidya project.
