The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration process for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 Board Exams tomorrow, October 4, 2024. Schools affiliated with CBSE must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) and the required fees before the deadline. Failure to complete this process could disqualify students from appearing in the board exams.
The registration fee for students is Rs 1,500 for five subjects, with an additional Rs 300 per subject for any extra subjects. Visually impaired students are exempt from paying these exam fees. The registration process must be completed online through the Pareeksha Sangam portal at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. Only students whose names are submitted via this process will be eligible to appear in the exams for the 2024-2025 academic session.
Meanwhile, students are awaiting the release of the CBSE 2025 exam date sheet, which is expected in December 2024. The CBSE board exams for 2025 are scheduled to begin on February 15, with practical exams likely to take place in January. Following the practicals, schools will conduct pre-board exams, and the main written exams will occur between February and April 2025.
Looking ahead, the CBSE board is considering a significant change for 2026, with plans to hold the exams twice a year. If implemented, this will require adjustments to the current exam format.
