The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conclude the submission process for the List of Candidates (LOC) for classes 10 and 12 today, October 4, 2024. This submission is crucial for students who will be appearing in the 2025 board exams. However, schools that miss today’s deadline can still submit the LOC with a late fee starting tomorrow, October 5, 2024. The late fee is set at Rs. 2,000, and this extended window will remain open until October 15, 2024.
Importance of Accurate LOC Submission
CBSE has emphasized that the information submitted in the LOC must be accurate, as no corrections or changes will be allowed once the submission is complete. Schools, parents, and students are advised to verify personal details and subject selections before finalizing the submission, as these will play a critical role in the upcoming board examination processes.
Submission Process
Schools are required to log in to the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal to submit the LOC. Before doing so, they must first enter student data into the OASIS and HPE portals before uploading the final LOC information.
Upcoming Board Exams
CBSE has announced that the 2025 board exams for classes 10 and 12 will begin on February 15, 2025. While the exact timetable is yet to be confirmed, the official date sheet is expected to be released in November, after the LOC submission window closes.
For students and schools, it is essential to complete this process on time to ensure a smooth path to the upcoming board exams.
