The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the submission deadline for the List of Candidates (LOC) for students appearing in the 2024 board examinations. Initially, the deadline was set for October 3, 2024. However, schools and students who missed the deadline can still submit their LOCs between October 5 and October 15 by paying a late fee of Rs 2000.
CBSE has urged school principals and parents to ensure accurate submission of student data for both class 10 and class 12 board exams. The LOC process includes the submission of essential information such as personal details and subject choices. CBSE has made it clear that no changes or corrections will be allowed after the final submission. Therefore, students and their families must review the information carefully to avoid any errors.
To complete the submission, schools are required to log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal, input data on the OASIS portal, and use the HPE portal before uploading the LOC information.
Looking ahead, CBSE has scheduled the 2025 board exams to begin on February 15. The official date sheet for these exams is expected to be released in November 2024, once the LOC submission process is completed.
This extended deadline offers a last opportunity for students and schools to ensure that all necessary information is submitted correctly, helping to avoid any issues during the upcoming board examination process.
