The Chhattisgarh government has announced the opening of online applications for the Post-Matric Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25. Important Dates:
- Application Period: September 9 to October 30, 2024
- Draft Proposals Locking: September 16 to November 14, 2024
- Sanction Order Locking: November 21, 2024
Application Process:
- NSP One-Time Registration (OTR): Mandatory for SC and ST applicants. Obtain your NSP OTR number from https://scholarships.gov.in/otrapplication. Note that having multiple OTRs may lead to disqualification from the scholarship.
- Aadhaar Authentication: Ensure your Aadhaar Authentication (e-KYC) is up-to-date. Students with failed e-KYC will have one opportunity to correct their Aadhaar details.
- Bank Account: Provide an active bank account linked with your Aadhaar number, as scholarship payments will be made via Aadhaar-based transactions.
Institution Responsibilities:
- Institutions must complete geotagging as per the training provided by the District Nodal Officer. Scholarships will not be awarded to students if their institutions fail to complete this process.
Note to Students:
- Ensure all scholarship proceedings are completed by the specified dates to avoid missing out on the scholarship. Heads of institutions will be held accountable for any delays or omissions.
