The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key from the official CTET portal at ctet.nic.in. The provisional answer key is expected to be available on or before July 22. An official confirmation from CBSE is still awaited.
In addition to the provisional answer key, the board will also release the candidate’s response sheets. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answers will have the opportunity to raise objections by paying a minimal fee within a specified period. After reviewing the objections, CBSE will finalize the answer key and prepare the CTET 2024 results.
How to Download the CTET 2024 Provisional Answer Key:
- Visit the Website: Go to ctet.nic.in.
- Find the Link: Look for the CTET 2024 Answer Key link on the homepage and click on it.
- Login: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (D.O.B).
- View Answer Key: The provisional answer key will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and Review: Download the answer key and review it carefully.

- Paper 1: For teaching Classes 1 to 5
- Paper 2: For teaching Classes 6 to 8
- Format: 150 multiple-choice questions with 1 mark awarded for each correct answer. No negative marking.
Certificate Validity:
- Validity: CTET 2024 qualifying certificates are valid for a lifetime for all categories.
- Retakes: There is no limit on the number of times a person can take the CTET to obtain a certificate. Candidates may retake the exam to improve their score.
