Consequently, the Telangana government has declared a holiday for all schools in Hyderabad on Monday.

  • Emergency Measures: Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari held an emergency media conference with district Collectors to assess the situation and decide on school closures based on local conditions. Collectors are urged to remain vigilant and issue appropriate directives as necessary.
  • Private Schools: In response to the intense rainfall, private schools have also been instructed to close to ensure the safety of students.

September School Holidays:

  • Onam: Schools will be closed on September 5 for Onam.
