Delhi University released the much-awaited academic calendar for first-year undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 session on Saturday. According to the schedule, classes for the new batch will start on August 29.
Originally set to begin on August 1, the session was deferred due to a delay in the declaration of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores amid allegations of irregularities.
The academic session for undergraduate courses will conclude on June 7, 2025, with the commencement of final exams.
The second semester for the 2024-2025 UG batch will start on January 27, 2025, following a brief winter break of two days.
Practical exams will begin on May 25, which also marks the last class of the session before students break to prepare for the final exams. Typically, the dispersal of classes occurs in the first week of May.
Summer vacation for students will start on June 29 and last until July 20, 2025.
