IBPS Clerk Prelims 2024: Exam Dates, Admit Card Details, and Guidelines

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the Clerk Preliminary Examination (CRP CLERKS-XIV) from August 24 to August 31, 2024. The exam will be held in four shifts daily: 9 AM to 10 AM, 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 2 PM to 3 PM, and 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This recruitment drive aims to fill 6,128 clerical positions across 11 participating banks.

Admit Card Details:

  • Download: Candidates can download their admit cards from the official IBPS website ibps.in until August 31, 2024.
  • Credentials: To download the admit card, candidates need to enter their roll number and password.
  • Contents: The admit card will include details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, exam centre’s address, category, and the examination date.

Exam Day Guidelines:

  • Duration: The prelims exam lasts for 60 minutes, but candidates should expect to be at the venue for about two hours or more due to formalities such as verification and logging in.
  • Call Letter: The call letter will not be collected at the venue but must be authenticated/stamped by the exam centre staff. Candidates must keep the call letter and a copy of their ID proof safe.
  • Photograph: Candidates need to bring one additional photograph (identical to the one on the admit card). Failure to bring a photograph will result in being barred from the exam. It’s advisable to retain about eight copies of the photograph used during the application for future stages of the selection process.

  • Type: Objective-type questions.
  • Total Marks: 100.

    • Reasoning Ability
  • Time: 60 minutes to complete the exam.
  • Scoring: Candidates must qualify in all three sections according to the prescribed cut-off marks to be eligible for the main examination.
