Indian Army Opens Applications for TES-53 July 2025 Batch Recruitment

The Indian Army has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates under the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53) for the July 2025 batch. A total of 90 posts are available, and interested candidates can apply through the official Indian Army website until November 7, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Applicants should have completed Class 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• JEE (Mains) Requirement: It is mandatory for applicants to appear for the JEE (Mains) 2024 examination.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Therefore, the date of birth should fall between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Salary Structure

The pay scale for selected candidates is as follows:

• Lieutenant: Level 10 – ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
• Captain: Level 10B – ₹61,300 – ₹1,93,900
• Major: Level 11 – ₹69,400 – ₹2,07,200
• Lieutenant Colonel: Level 12A – ₹1,21,200 – ₹2,12,400
• Colonel: Level 13 – ₹1,30,600 – ₹2,15,900
• Brigadier: Level 13A – ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,17,600
• Major General: Level 14 – ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
• Lieutenant General HAG Scale: Level 15 – ₹1,82,200 – ₹2,24,100
• Lieutenant General HAG + Scale: Level 16 – ₹2,05,400 – ₹2,24,400
• VCOAS/Army Cdr/Lieutenant General (NFSG): Level 17 – ₹2,25,000 (fixed)
• COAS: Level 18 – ₹2,50,000 (fixed)

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications and called for the SSB interview, which includes two phases:

• Phase I: Preliminary Selection
• Phase II: Detailed SSB Interview (a five-day process)

A medical test will also be conducted following the SSB interview.
