The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has started the application process for the Jharkhand Secretariat Stenographer Competitive Examination (JSSCE) 2024. JSSC SSCE 2024: Vacancy Details
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 455 vacancies, of which:
- 182 posts are for unreserved category candidates
- 118 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates
- 45 for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates (including 1 backlog post)
- 37 for Extremely Backward Class (EBC)
- 27 for Backward Class (BC)
- 45 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and be proficient in stenography.
- Age Limit: The minimum age to apply is 21 years, and the upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is provided according to reservation norms.

- General/OBC candidates: ₹100
- SC/ST candidates: ₹50
