The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has started the application process for the Jharkhand Secretariat Stenographer Competitive Examination (JSSCE) 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official website, jssc.nic.in, until October 5, 2024. The exam date will be announced later by the commission.
JSSC SSCE 2024: Vacancy Details
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 455 vacancies, of which:
- 182 posts are for unreserved category candidates
- 118 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates
- 45 for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates (including 1 backlog post)
- 37 for Extremely Backward Class (EBC)
- 27 for Backward Class (BC)
- 45 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and be proficient in stenography.
- Age Limit: The minimum age to apply is 21 years, and the upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is provided according to reservation norms.

- General/OBC candidates: ₹100
- SC/ST candidates: ₹50

- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
