Key Meeting of Sahodaya School Complex, Gurdaspur, Held at St Kabir Public School

An important meeting of the Sahodaya School Complex, Gurdaspur, for the 2024-25 academic session was recently held at St Kabir Public School, Sultanpur. The meeting, arranged by school administrators Navdeep Kaur and Kuldeep Kaur, was presided over by Principal SB Nair, President of the Sahodaya Group. Principals from 10 CBSE-affiliated schools within the Sahodaya Group participated in the discussion.

Key Discussions and Initiatives

The meeting focused on several crucial topics, including:

  • Curriculum Management: Addressing the proper size of the curriculum in school education, aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
  • Supporting Teachers and Students: Discussing ways to better support educators and learners through improved pedagogic practices and overall development strategies.
  • Exam Challenges: Addressing common challenges faced by students during examinations and how schools can provide better support.
  • Promoting Sports: Encouraging participation in inter-school sports competitions, with a focus on volleyball, basketball, and kho-kho.
  • Technology Integration: Discussing the appropriate use of technology in classrooms to enhance learning.
  • Student Development: Emphasizing the importance of fostering strong, positive thinking in students, as advocated by the National Education Policy (2019).

In addition, CBSE decided to recognize two outstanding teachers and students from the Sahodaya Group schools every year.

At the conclusion of the meeting, SB Nair thanked the participants and encouraged the implementation of discussed CBSE guidelines and policies.
