The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat matrix and the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) list for the first phase of NEET UG 2024 counselling. This document details the available seats for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other undergraduate medical programs across India.
Aspiring medical students with valid NEET UG 2024 scores who have not yet registered can still do so on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. The deadline for registration and the choice-filling process is tomorrow, August 20.
MCC NEET UG 2024: How to Check Seat Matrix
- Visit the MCC Official Website: Go to mcc.nic.in.
- Check for the Latest Notification: Look in the current events section for the latest update.
- Click on the Relevant Link: Select either “NRI List Of Eligible Candidates For UG (Round 1) 2024-25” or “Final Seat Matrix For Deemed Round 1 UG 2024 (MBBS).”
- View the Final Seat Matrix: The PDF will be displayed on your screen.
- Check Your Details: Look for your Serial Number and Name in the list.
- Download the PDF: Save the final seat matrix PDF for future reference.
The diversity and international reach of NEET UG applicants are highlighted by the 1,037 candidates who converted their status from Indian to NRI. Those allotted seats under the NRI quota must present original documentation proving their NRI status when reporting to the college. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their admission.

This year, approximately 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in 710 medical colleges across the nation will be allocated through the NEET UG 2024 counselling process. Additionally, 21,000 BDS seats, along with Ayush and nursing seats, will be part of the counselling. The MCC will handle counselling for the 15% All-India Quota seats, 100% of seats at AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, and central and deemed universities.
