The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, has commenced the registration process for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) BArch admissions for 2024. Candidates interested in pursuing BArch programs can apply through the official website at arch2024.mahacet.org.in.
Registration Process
- Verification Options:
- Online Verification: Documents will be verified online, and candidates will receive an email acknowledgment.
- Offline Verification: Candidates must select a facilitation center for in-person document verification.
- Counselling and Seat Allotment:
- Counselling Rounds: There will be three rounds of counselling.
- Registration: Candidates must register online at the counselling portal, upload scanned copies of their documents, and pay the required counselling fee.
- Merit List: The CET Cell will release a merit list based on Class 12 and CET scores. Seat allotment will be based on this merit list.

- Verification of Documents: July 26 to August 1, 2024
- Release of Provisional Merit List: August 3, 2024
- Grievances Against Provisional Merit List: August 4 to 5, 2024
- Release of Final Merit List: August 7, 2024
Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of tie scores:
- Preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in JEE Main Paper 2 or NATA.
- If a tie persists, candidates with higher SSC mathematics scores will be prioritized.
- For ongoing ties, higher SSC aggregate marks will be considered.
