The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha) has released the admit card for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2024 today, August 12. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official BSE Odisha website at bseodisha.nic.in. To access the admit card, candidates need to enter their date of birth and registration number.
Steps to Download OTET Admit Card 2024:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to bseodisha.nic.in.
- Navigate to the Latest Updates Section: Look for the “Latest Updates” section on the homepage.
- Select the Admit Card Link: Click on the link for “OTET Admit Card 2024.”
- Enter Login Details: Provide the required login information, such as your date of birth and registration number.
- Download and Print: Download the admit card and print a copy for future reference.
OTET 2024 Exam Details:
- Exam Date: August 17, 2024
- Exam Duration: Two and a half hours for each paper
- Exam Papers: The OTET consists of two papers—Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Question Format: Both papers are comprised entirely of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with one mark awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.
Minimum Passing Percentage:
- General Category: Candidates must score at least 60% to qualify.
- OBC, SC, ST Categories: Candidates need a minimum of 50% to qualify.
Candidates who successfully pass the OTET will receive a certificate valid for seven years, enabling them to apply for teaching positions in government, private aided, and private unaided schools across Odisha.
