As a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) of the Government of India, PGCIL is offering apprenticeship positions across various roles. Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate (Electrical): BE/BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- HR Executive: MBA HR/PG Diploma in Personnel Management or Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.
- ITI Electrician: Completed ITI in the electrician trade.
- Diploma (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

- Free: There is no application fee for applying to PGCIL Apprenticeship.

- Visit the Website: Go to powergrid.in.
- Navigate to Careers: Click on the “Careers” tab and select “Engagement of Apprentices.”
- Check Notifications: Browse through the list of notifications for various PGCIL zones.
- Register: Depending on your qualification, register at apprenticeship.gov.in or nats.education.gov.in.
- Apply Online: Click on the apply online link on the PGCIL website.
- Fill Out the Form: Complete the application form with necessary details and upload required documents.
- Submit Application: Submit your application once all details are filled out and documents are uploaded.
Selection Process:
- Merit List Preparation: Based on marks obtained in the relevant qualifying exam.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who pass document verification will undergo a medical examination to confirm fitness for the role.
