Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Deputy Governor role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Candidates must not exceed the age of 60 as of January 15, 2025.
- Experience: Applicants should have at least 25 years of experience in public administration, with experience in a senior position such as a secretary or an equivalent role in the central government. Alternatively, candidates with a similar amount of experience in Indian or foreign public financial institutions are also eligible.

Salary
The position offers a pay scale of Rs. 2,25,000 (Level 17). Candidates are advised to ensure that their applications are submitted on time. The Ministry of Finance will not be responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications.
Additional Information
The Financial Sector Regulatory Appointments Search Committee (FSRASC) holds the authority to recommend candidates based on merit, even if they haven’t applied. The committee may also relax certain eligibility criteria for exceptional candidates.
