Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Civil
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Telecommunication
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 36 years old.
Application Process

- Go to rrbapply.gov.in.
- Register:
- On the homepage, click on the JE recruitment link once it is activated.
- Register using your application number and date of birth.
- Fill Out the Application Form:
- Complete the application form with the required details.
- Pay the Application Fees:
- The application fee is Rs 500 for general candidates.
- For SC, ST, economically weaker, and female candidates, the fee is Rs 250.
- To make corrections to the application form, a fee of Rs 250 is applicable.
- Submit and Save:
- Download and save the acknowledgment form for future reference.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three stages:
- Computer-Based Examinations:
- Stage 1
- Stage 2
- Document Verification:
- Candidates who qualify the exams will undergo document verification.
- Merit List:
- The final merit list is based on the candidates’ scores in the computer-based exams.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs 35,400 per month along with additional allowances and benefits.
