The Railway Recruitment Cell of Western Central Railway (RRC WCR) in Jabalpur has commenced the application process for the Apprenticeship posts for 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official website at wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications is September 4, 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,317 Apprentice positions across various divisions. The JBP Division has the highest number of vacancies with 1,262 positions available, followed by the BPL Division with 824 positions, and the Kota Division with 832 positions.
RRC WCR Apprentice 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 15 to 24 years old as of August 5, 2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for SC/ST candidates and by three years for OBC applicants.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed Class 10th with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board for all trades except Medical Laboratory Technician.
- For Medical Laboratory Technician, candidates must have completed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th-grade exam or an equivalent course under the 10+2 examination system.
- Additionally, candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate in the specified trade, granted by NCVT/SCVT.

- Register: Finish the registration procedure by clicking the “New Registration” button.
- Log In: Use the provided credentials to log in and complete the application form by entering your details.
- Pay the Application Fee: Submit the application fee as required.
- Upload Necessary Files: Upload the necessary documents as specified.
- Submit the Form: Fill out the online RRC WCR Apprentice Form 2024 and print a copy for future use.
RRC WCR Apprentice 2024: Application Fee
- The application fee for all candidates is Rs 141.
- A reduced fee of Rs 41 is applicable for SC/ST candidates, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and women candidates.
RRC WCR Apprentice 2024: Selection Process
- Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be used to select candidates for the RRC WCR Apprenticeship 2024 whose applications are accepted. This list will be compiled based on their ITI diploma or matriculation grades.
- Document Verification: Those who meet the requirements listed on the merit list will move on to this stage. During this phase, the candidates must bring original documents.
- Medical Examination: After meeting the requirements, qualified applicants will have a medical examination, during which a number of required tests will be carried out. Those who make it through the medical examination will be invited to the training sessions.
