Three minor girls from the Kasturba Gandhi Residential School hostel in Ghaziabad went missing on Tuesday, prompting a search by local police officials. Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Rajesh Kumar reported that police teams have been deployed to locate the girls, who may have ventured outside Ghaziabad.
The girls, aged between 14 and 16, were last seen in their rooms after dinner on Monday night at around 11 pm. When the hostel door was opened the following morning, the three girls were discovered missing. They were close friends and are from Sudama Puri Colony in Ghaziabad, Loni, and Krishna Nagar Colony in Delhi.
The hostel warden promptly notified the police, who responded by examining CCTV footage from cameras installed at the hostel gates, school premises, and surrounding roads. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to recover the missing girls as soon as possible.
