SPJIMR Tops India’s Business School Rankings for Second Consecutive Year; University of St. Gallen Leads Globally

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) has secured the top position among Indian business schools in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management (MiM) Rankings for the second consecutive year. In the latest rankings, 14 Indian institutions have made it to the global top 100, with SPJIMR, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Bangalore emerging as the only Indian institutes within the top 50 worldwide.

SPJIMR’s Achievements

SPJIMR’s achievement underscores its consistent excellence, marking the fifth consecutive year the institute has been ranked among the top 50 globally. For the second year running, SPJIMR has been recognized as India’s top business school, securing the 35th position worldwide for its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). This performance surpasses other top Indian institutes such as IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore, which are ranked 39th and 41st respectively.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has also shown notable improvement, reaching 55th position globally, up from last year’s 72nd position. This advancement highlights IIM Lucknow’s strong commitment to management education.

IIM Indore has demonstrated significant progress, rising from 89th to 83rd place globally. This leap reinforces the institute’s growing prominence and academic excellence.

Special Recognition for SPJIMR

SPJIMR has achieved a prestigious 7th place globally in the ‘Careers Service’ category. This accolade reflects the institute’s strong support for student placements and its ability to facilitate exceptional career opportunities for its graduates.

FT MiM Ranking Criteria

The FT MiM rankings assess programs from schools accredited by AACSB or EQUIS, targeting participants with limited or no work experience. Key criteria include ‘Alumni Career Progress,’ ‘School Diversity,’ ‘International Experience & Research,’ and ‘Career Services.’
