The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has officially launched the application process for the Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply via the official website dge.tn.gov.in until September 19, 2024. The test is scheduled to take place on October 19, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Class 11 Students: All recognized schools in Tamil Nadu, including those affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), are eligible to apply.
Exam Details:
- Syllabus: The examination will be based on the Class 10 textbooks of the Tamil Nadu government.
- Objective: The test aims to assess the literary aptitude in Tamil.
Application Process:
- Download Application Form: Visit dge.tn.gov.in to download the application form.
- Fill Out Form: Complete the application form with accurate details.
- Submit Form: Submit the filled application form to the headmaster or principal of your school.
- Pay Examination Fee: The fee is ₹50.
Note: The deadline for submitting the application form is September 19, 2024.
Incentives:
- Selection and Stipend: 1,500 students will be selected through this test. Each selected student will receive a stipend of ₹1,500 for two years.
- Distribution: Fifty per cent of the awardees will be chosen from government schools, while the remaining fifty per cent will be selected from both government and private schools.
