In a heartwarming display of generosity, over 200 teachers from Gujarat’s Kutch region have pledged to donate blood this Teachers’ Day. The Primary Teachers’ Society in Bhuj Taluka has organized this blood donation camp for the eighth consecutive year, highlighting the teachers’ commitment to making a difference beyond the classroom.
The initiative is primarily aimed at supporting kidney and dialysis patients. According to Ghanshyamsinh Jadeja, President of the Primary Teachers’ Society, “By participating in this event, these teachers are becoming essential blood donors and extending their role in the community.”
The event is supported by Lions Hospital, which not only facilitates the blood donation process but also provides free dialysis services, ensuring the initiative’s success. This act of kindness exemplifies the teachers’ dedication to both education and the welfare of their community, inspiring others to contribute to similar causes.
