The University of Delhi (DU) has released the schedule for the Spot Round 1 of the undergraduate admissions process for the academic year 2024-25. The complete schedule and details can be found on DU’s official website: du.ac.in.
Spot Round 1 Schedule:
- Admission Procedure Start: September 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM
- Admission Procedure End: September 19, 2024
- Results Announcement: September 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM
Eligibility: Candidates who applied for the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 but were not admitted to any college by 5:00 PM on September 17, 2024, are eligible to participate in Spot Round 1. Eligible candidates must opt for ‘Spot Admission’ through their dashboard available at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Important Dates:
- Seat Acceptance Deadline: September 22, 2024, by 11:59 PM
- Online Payment Deadline: September 24, 2024, by 4:59 PM
Additional Information:
- Seat Allocation: Candidates will only be able to choose from programme-college combinations with available seats, based on their category.
- No Upgrade Option: There will be no option to upgrade or withdraw seats during the spot admission rounds. The seat allocated in a Spot round is final and will not be subject to change in subsequent rounds.
- Dashboard Lock: The dashboards of all admitted candidates will be locked in freeze mode after 5:00 PM on September 17, and withdrawals will not be allowed.
